In April 2007, House of David members traveled to Kiev, Ukraine to minister alongside Ezra International. Pastor Barry Wagner, Vice President of Ezra, guided us through each area of ministry that is performed by Ezra in the former Soviet Union. The majority of our time was spent with the "fishermen". The fisherman are Ezra workers who find and help Jewish people that have a desire to make "aliyah", return to their Biblical homeland of Israel. In addition to our work with the fishermen, we also had the opportunity to visit Father's House, the Ezra sponsored children's shelter; take part in a feeding program for street children; meet with holocaust survivors; and visit the holocaust site at Babi Yar.
