Join the House of David as they welcome special guest, Luke Holter of Prophetic Sheep Ministries, for a second evening of ministry as he discusses Commissioning in the Prophetic.
Holter, a preacher’s kid, spent seven years living “the life of the prodigal son.” During this time, he was addicted to pornography and drugs, and made a living working for a drug dealer –he used brutal force to ensure that drug money that was owed was paid in full.
Through the tenacious prayers and unconditional love of his parents, and through several diving encounters, Luke Holter slowly began his journey home. Soon after, he spent several years at IHOP in Kansas City, soaking in the prayer room and reading the Word.
He shares a riveting testimony of the goodness of God, and explains that the Church has not represented our heavenly Father correctly. He explains that the Bible is actually full of stories about true people, who made huge mistakes, and had many moral failures. He encourages the congregation to remember the patriarchs as people and not as unattainable heroes.
He goes on to share on the topic of identity and using the prophetic as a way to show others how the Father views them –understanding that prophesy is to edify and encourage others. Even a warning should be seen as a form of edification, as the Father is working to keep us from danger.
Listen in as he shares words of knowledge with members of the congregation. Stand in agreement and receive the word with them, giving praise to our heavenly Father who offers identity in Him and Him alone.
- God so loves the lost that He won’t bring them to the Church until they are ready to minister the love of the Father.
- Mothers are responsible for giving life and fathers for identity.
- Being a doubting Thomas is not a good thing.
