In Curt Landry’s message Faith is Our Testimony he covers the recent Jubilee year. He explains that many have prophesied great things that are to come. Still, most of us have yet to experience this increase in a tangible way. Curt explains that the blessing will manifest, but it is in the waiting time that we develop our testimony. He shares that God is asking us to worship Him not results.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.” –Hebrews 11:1-2
He shares My Olive Trees own personal story of how they started just by saying yes to something that seemed impossible at the time –planting trees in the desert. Once that step was taken, new doors of opportunity have opened up over the years. Each time, these were steps that seemed absolutely impossible for the ministry to accomplish. We must understand that saying “yes” is the beginning of great things to come, but rarely does the task go according to our earthly plans. We must trust in the Lord to finish the big things that He has asked us to start.
“For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “’For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.’” – Hebrews 10:36-38
