In Pastor Tim’s message Great Faith, he shares that there must be a root of love at the end of our faith.
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” –1 Corinthians 13:13
He asks the question, do we have faith to face what we’re facing now? Pastor Tim explains that it is easy to believe that you are in the center of God’s will… until something bad happens.
He then asks, “Where does our faith come from?” Tim shares that God has placed a measure of faith within each one of us from our very beginning. However, it must be cultivated as we continue to mature in the Lord.
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”– Romans 5:1-5
Join with the House of David as they are encouraged in the Lord to stand in great faith, not in who they are, but in who He is in each one of us.
- All we have to do is simply ask, and He’ll forgive you.
- When everything is going your way, it’s easy to have faith.
- When you ask for great faith, you will be tested, but you will find in that time He will NEVER fail you, NEVER leave you.
