In Curt Landry’s word Love the Power to Prophesy, he shares that many have been going through a season similar to Job.
Just like Job many have suffered greatly, and have been humbled, stripped of all that they had. Similarly, our friends have not always understood the situation, and have spoken words, that although well meaning, were not helpful.
What we often fail to see in times like these is that God has taken us through these seasons as a way to promote us, not to harm us. He has heard us as we cry out to Him, “Lord! Whatever it takes.”
Curt goes on to share that what we speak will determine our futures. Although there are many prophesying doom and gloom, God has other plans.
While many have experienced hurt by their brothers and sisters in Christ, it is important for us to understand that bitterness will keep us from entering boldly into the courts of Heaven. Just like Job, we must pray for our friends and choose to forgive them.
Next, Curt Landry delves into the importance of the release of a prophetic word. He encourages us to seek out the mysteries that the Lord is revealing through His prophets. He reminds us that we test the prophetic by placing it within the context of His Word.
The release of God’s promises will come when we choose to put Him into remembrance of His words –understanding also, that as we claim His promises for the nation of Israel, they are released back into our own lives.

- There needs to be some mail men and women sending His words out canceling destruction and bringing healing.
