Today’s message Mary Magdalene Lingered at the Tomb by Curt Landry is based on the scripture from John, Chapter 20. This chapter reflects on Mary Magdalene and is all about The Rising Remnant – we celebrate and honor the power of the resurrection of Jesus our Messiah.
But what was it about Mary of Magdala that made her the one Jesus appeared to first? The disciples hid from the Jews but not Mary. She tarried, interceded and lamented at the tomb. Her heart overflowed with a love and gratefulness to Jesus because He had delivered her from the spirits that had bound her for so long. She was set free and left everything to follow Him. Her whole focus was on Yeshua and she didn’t fear man’s accusations.
–Mary didn’t care about the circumstances, her call was to be a watchman to Yeshua, and in the process she was part of the great move of God. Her focus was always on Jesus and she was graced to have the visitation from her broken heart to meet Jesus.
—Mary stood outside the tomb and wept. She was there to continue to provide for him and she didn’t care what others said. At the end of the day her mission was to serve Him. When they all left the tomb, she was still there and she wept.
–She knew the order, alignment and honor of following and obeying Yeshua. Mary was the forerunner who prepared the disciples with the message that He was alive. “He’s coming to see you!”
Are you knowing what’s happening today or listening to your feelings? Will you see and believe but have the fear of man, listening to what they say off the street—or will you see and believe and say you don’t need man’s approval in order to follow the Lamb?
Don’t miss this powerful message that will inspire you to give your whole heart, like Mary, to Yeshua. You too can be more like Mary and less like those around you with the fearless anointing of the Father to linger at the tomb and not run in fear. Yeshua paid a price for you and you are free!
