Follow along with the House of David, as Curt Landry shares the revelatory word, Protection and Peace Using Love as a Shield.
As Believers in Christ, through the blood of Jesus, we have been given dominion –this is our inheritance. However, for many, this concept is a difficult one to believe. Still, it is our job to shift atmospheres, and we must take ownership of our titles as sons and daughters of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Paul explains this concept to the people of Ephesus in Ephesians 6:13.
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
Curt goes on to explain that many Christians want to preach a gospel of comfort and prosperity versus dominion – to understand dominion, we must understand covenant.
The act of physical circumcision in ancient times, represented the tribal identity of the Hebrew children. Gentile Believers also must go through a spiritual circumcision. Through the act of repentance, a circumcision of the heart, they are grafted into this same tribal identity, and become children (heirs) of the one true living God!
Curt continues to explore the armor of God and discusses the significance of each individual piece, and focuses specifically on the shield of faith.
Stand with the house as they begin to activate their armor in a new a powerful way.
- It doesn’t do any good to put on the armor, if you don’t truly understand who you are.
- When you preach the gospel it is sharper than a two edged sword, just preach it, it will take care of itself.
- There is no salvation unless you understand identity.
