In Tim Alsbaugh’s message Set the Watch he addresses spiritual warfare taking place in the nation of Israel and around the world. However, we are reminded that as turmoil and chaos continues to churn, we can be sure that the enemy is stirred up because he knows that his time is coming to an end. Pastor Tim Alsbaugh gives us direction on significant steps that we as Believer’s can take so that we can experience victory in EVERY situation.
Watch: look at or observe attentively, typically over a period of time.
The Church must understand that there is a target on our backs simply because we have accepted Jesus Christ. In this season of time we must choose to take our prayer life to the next level.
“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.” –Mark 13:33
“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” –Mark 14:38
MOST IMPORTANT WATCH HOURS:
Pastor Tim then takes the congregation to Psalm 90, explaining that this is the preparatory Psalm before going into major battle with Psalm 91. Psalm 90 reminds the Believer that God is a mighty God, who is always prepared.
Stand with the House of David as they are greatly encouraged by the reminder to be diligent to pray –understanding that the more we practice, the better we will become. When we step out in faith, He will always be faithful.
-Prayer is key and essential in this spiritual warfare.
-Remember this is just a season of time. But you have power and authority to take the enemy on and to take him down.
-A lot of times we say prayers and we’re a million miles away…
