Joshua Williams joins House of David to share a riveting testimony of God’s great faithfulness. Raised as a “pastor’s kid”, Josh Williams spent most of his growing up at church or attending church functions. Still, although he experienced the presence of God many times, his heart was never fully surrendered.
Josh shares that after his small town experienced great tragedy, losing four young people within 6 months of one another, he felt great anger toward God. He questioned the goodness of God in these situations, and eventually walked away from the way he was raised –turning to alcohol and his career to seek comfort. Soon after, he was invited to work for an oil company based out of Texas, where the pay was extremely high, and the parties were wild. Josh took the job immediately, leaving behind his life in Oklahoma for what he thought would be forever.
One day while working on the rig, Josh was severely injured. His right leg from the knee down was torn from his body, and the crew could not hear his call for help above the noise of the drilling. It took them 16 minutes to get Josh to an ambulance, and within that time the blood loss was fatal. He met Yeshua in that ambulance, but there were many trying years following as he struggled with an addiction to pain medication. Josh has been pronounced dead four times in his life, but now stands to testify to the of goodness of God. Although this is just his fourth speaking engagement, he foresees that God is going to take his testimony to the nations.
Join with the House of David as they break the spirit of death and destruction. Stand like Joshua Williams and walk in the boldness of our identity in Christ.
