Description

In this powerful message, Tim Alsbaugh teaches us about The Bride’s Inheritance  ─ our position in the Lord’s love that enables us to come into full fellowship with Him and the family of God.  What better way to learn about this position of the Bride, but through the beautiful love story of book of Ruth, the story of a marriage covenant.

The ‘marriage covenant’ given at Mt. Sanai, where the power and glory of God was revealed to His people, is the same marriage covenant that was given to His people in the upper room where the power and glory of God was poured out on those waiting there.  One was written on tablets of stone, the other on the tablets of the heart.  The book of Ruth shows us the doorway that opened for that same instruction to be written on the tablets of our hearts.

Listen to this message as Tim weaves the meaning of the names of the people into the meaning of their life decisions.  The decisions we make to position ourselves in Him will allow the blessings of His inheritance to flow in our lives.

  • Naomi, whose name means ‘pleasant,’ makes a conscious decision to return to her land, to Bethlehem (house of Bread), to Judah (land of praise).
  • Ruth, whose name means ‘friendship,’ makes the conscious decision to leave her family, her gods and everything she was familiar with to go with Naomi.  She had no hope of redemption unless someone in Naomi’s family could change her situation from poverty to redeeming inheritance.
  • Boaz, the kinsman redeemer decides to offer protection and provision for both Ruth and Naomi.  The provision of the kinsman redeemer was abundant!  Ruth asks to be placed ‘under his wing’ (Ruth 3:8).

Just as Ruth positioned herself into a place under the wing of her kinsman redeemer, Boaz, we too can position ourselves under the wing of our Kinsman Redeemer, Yeshua.

Just as Boaz blessed Ruth for her willingness to ask him to redeem something that had been lost, our Kinsman Redeemer blesses us for our willingness to ask of Him and come under His Wing to the full inheritance of the Bride.

Come into your inheritance to walk in the glory of the Lord and see His power manifest in your life!
