Walid Shoebat visited House of David and shared his testimony with us in February of 2012.
Walid Shoebat is a former radicalized Muslim who was willing to die for the cause of Jihad up until 1994 when he became a Christian. As a member of the PLO he was involved in terror activity and once imprisoned in Jerusalem for three weeks where he was recruited to plant a bomb in Bethlehem. Fortunately, by the grace of God, no one was injured.
Walid’s mother was an American and as a result Walid was sent to attend college in Chicago. At this time he was recruited at a hotel Terror Conference” by Jamal Said (founder of the Islamic Association of Palestine and the Imam at a large mosque in Chicago). The IAP was a forerunner to Hamas; the Imams were the prime recruiters for terrorism at that time—just as they are today. Walid Shoebat was trained for Jihad activies in the USA with many other young foreigners and US citizens prior to his salvation.
According to Walid Shoebat, Jamal Said is still the Imam at Bridgeview Mosque in Chicago and still supports terrorism. He is a major player in the operations of the Jihad movement in the USA” and yet he still free at large. Walid now travels speaking to the American people to warn and educate them about the very dangers that are underplayed by the media and political leaders.
Walid has spoken all over the United States and the world including: Chile, Mexico, Canada, the UK, and South Africa. He also appeared on national television stations all over the world including CNN, CNN International, Fox News, ITN, RTE, NBC, CBS, and NBC. Some of his speaking highlights have been at: Harvard Law School, UCLA, Penn State, and a special forum on Capital Hill.
